MODUS is an experienced and innovative modular construction company based in Crossfield, Alberta. We have been in providing high quality, long lasting prefabricated modular buildings for the government, commercial, industrial and residential sector for the past 20 years.

Modus is driven to maximize construction efficiencies and cost effectiveness for our clients, while ensuring quality and meaningful architecture is incorporated into all our buildings. We are breaking the stigma that a modular building has to look modular.

PEOPLE – Our personnel are the horsepower of MODUS. We employ and recruit skilled, motivated and talented staff to join our dynamic team. We continuously invest in and develop our PEOPLE to improve their professional work life, as well as ensuring they have a healthy and balanced personal life. Our PEOPLE are considered part of the MODUS family and we ensure their health and well-being are taken care of. MODUS offers construction apprenticeship programs, and is engaged with the local high school and post secondary institution to encourage and develop future construction tradespeople.

PRODUCT – Our PRODUCTS are the modular buildings that we construct. We continually develop new innovative designs, use the best construction practices and methodologies, incorporate the latest technologies, the best materials and components into our PRODUCTS. Our PRODUCTS are built indoors in a temperature-controlled environment to ensure the highest quality. Our PRODUCTS are built to the National Building Code and National Certification Standards (CSA-A277), are certified by Intertek Certification Agency, as well as undergo stringent and rigorous quality control and quality assurance inspections.

PROCESS – We are constantly innovating and improving our processes and systems to be more efficient and cost effective for our clients. Starting at the early stages of project vision through completion, every phase of a project is evaluated, analysed and scrutinized to ensure the most optimal ideas and options are utilized. Through constant and rigorous project planning, communications, collaboration and innovative problem solving, MODUS is able to consistently deliver projects successfully to our clients.
